Role: As Conversion Marketing Team Lead, the main purpose of this role is to ensure that our conversion marketing team is delivering successful campaign results to clients.

The role will require maintaining expertise across many platforms, working alongside account managers to create strategies and corresponding campaigns for clients, communicating directly with clients to verify accuracy and sharing results of efforts.

This role will include meeting with clients to understand their goals, needs, and brand, in order to create strategic, professional conversion campaigns that follow best practices and aligns with client goals.

Expertise needed in all of the following tools and platforms:

  1. Google Search Ads
  2. Google Display Ads
  3. Bing Ads
  4. Facebook & Instagram Ad Platform
  5. Google Analytics
  6. Wordpress
  7. Unbounce

Key Responsibilities

  • Intrigue Marketing Action Plan (MAP) Build Process:
    • Prepare MAP for the team
    • Schedule and facilitate case study and MAP scope
    • Once scopes are completed, conduct MAP Presentation pre-call
  • Intrigue MAP Implementation Process:
    • Manage MAP Empowerment process
    • Update internal project team and upload action items
    • External email communication with the client via email and telephone with timeline expectations
    • Book client sessions, if applicable
    • Make necessary changes when if any MAP changes happen
  • Create and maintain processes and structure to ensure project deliverables and timelines are met with regular touch points and team check-ins
  • Monitor and respond to team capacity for current and future months
  • Manage the escalation process if a project status changes or client issues arise
  • Establish regular communication with clients and Account Managers on project status
  • Manage freelance contractors by completing project briefs, contractor agreements and establishing clear timelines and deliverables
  • Facilitate scoping of upserve opportunities
  • Create regular internal feedback and retrospective opportunities to continuously improve our processes and client experience
  • Work closely with accounting to develop process and ensure smooth invoicing, especially when client projects are paused or changed.
  • Ensure team members have the information they need to provide delightful customer experiences.

Intrigue Conversion Process:

    • Ensure conversion process is best practice and well documented
    • Responsible for working with the team on improving the conversion process
    • Ensure team is trained with best practice conversion strategies
    • External email communication with the client via email and telephone with timeline expectations
    • Book client sessions, if applicable
    • Make necessary changes when if any MAP changes happen

Knowledge & Skills

  • 3+ years of conversion marketing experience
  • Ability to navigate interpersonal communication with grace and assertiveness
  • Extremely high level of organization and communication
  • Ability to review and analyze data
  • Strategic mindset
  • Comfortable managing 50+ accounts and communicating with clients on a regular basis
  • Technical understanding of online marketing
  • Highly flexible
  • Demonstrated client focus
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience in client management
  • Experience in managing a team who is responsible for meeting client goals and objectives
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing

  • Insatiable thirst for knowledge
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
  • Able to manage a team under tight timelines
